How much will a wedding or live event cost?

2025 prices start at £295 for an IOW wedding or event. However, these prices may incur additional extras for travel and times.

How long will you draw for at my event?

I will draw for a minimum of two hours - most weddings I usually draw for about four hours.

How many people can you draw at my event?

I can usually draw one person every five / six minutes. I can draw couples, groups up to as many people as will fit on my paper! In terms of numbers - I can usually draw around 20-30 couples in 4 hours.

How far in advance do I need to book?

The further in advance the better really. Summer months and peak season I am also busy with other events as well as weddings - but get in touch to enquire about availability.

Do my guests have to pay for their caricature?

No, they are supplied FREE of charge to your guests, the cost of hiring me covers this.

What other services can you provide?

The great thing about caricatures is they work at many different events and purposes. Anything from parties, gifts , proms, corporate events and away days, Birthdays, Christmas parties and everything in-between!

What if I don’t like my caricature?

Caricatures are meant to be a representation of how the artist sees you. Please look at my gallery pages to see the sort of style I use. If it is a live drawing I will of course have another go. (this has never happened!) If it is a commission then I will make one redraw - but then that is it.

How far will you travel?

Most of the south of England and beyond. I will go as far as you like - but please bear in mind that travel costs will be incurred in your quote.

What methods of payment do you accept?

My preferred method of payment is bank transfer (BACS) My bank details will be on your invoice.

What size are the drawings?

A3 (297mm x 420mm). All drawing will be given to guests in a rubber band.

Do you have insurance?

I have full public liability insurance and can provide a copy upon request.

Do you do live caricatures in colour?

Due to the time allowed in most events I will only draw in black and white. I can do live caricatures in full colour on my Ipad which is also popular, but takes more time per person.

What do you need when you get to my event?

A place to park my car nearby the location of your event. A well-lit area to work in. Ideally 2 chairs. A space for my easel and chairs. Access to a nearby electrical socket if lighting is an issue.

What happens if someone misses out on getting their picture done at my event - will you still draw them?

If someone misses out due to time running out, I will draw them after your event but will incur an additional cost.

Can we use your caricatures as profile picture on Social Media?

Absolutely - as long as their use is for on profit. If you want to use the image in a business or promotional capacity I would need to be contacted for a separate license for usage.

Do we need to provide you with any food or drink at our event?

Most of the time I will have eaten beforehand or afterwards - but the offer of a Coke Zero would always be appreciated!

Will any photos that you take appear on Social Media?

Occasionally I might post photos or videos of your guests reacting to or posing with their photos. If your guests do not want this to happen I can always remove them.

What is your cancellation policy?

A deposit once paid is non-refundable. If you decide to cancel the booking - you can transfer to the booking to another date (If I’m available). If I make a cancellation due to ill health I will refund your deposit in full.
